lotion for dry skin is ';supposed'; to be more concentrated in moisturizing than ';regular'; lotion. really, it is probably a marketing gimmick. it is about the ingredients...
i recommend for chapped lips to use vaseline/petroleum jelly. it works the best of anything. this would also work on super dry skin, but it will leave it feeling greasy. the best lotions for actually moisturizing dry skin have been the thick body lotions from bath %26amp; body works. they work for me the best of anything %26amp; they smell great as well.

Chap-stick is a brand of lip balm. I like ones with lip conditioner in them and Carmex. Body cream is thicker than body lotion. If you're using it on heels and elbows, you want a cream. The rest of your body is fine with lotion. I like Avon.

You can use it, but it only helps with some of the symptoms. Abreva is an over the counter med that is used to treat/shorten the healing time and there are also prescription meds that may help: acyclovir or penciclovir. i had the same problem, bid put chap stick on and it would;t do anything, so id just stop trying. but then my mom made me try a new chap stick, its called brutes bees? or something like that. anyways, it works much better because it has wax in it and some sort of oils, so any kind of chap stick with wax and oils will work better than your general chap stick. also, avoid chap sticks that smell like spear mint, i heard somewhere that they actually dry out your lips. make sure your drinking enough water and are not like licking your lips or anything

its very easy, drink water. if you drink the right amount of water dailey, ur lips start to soften up within like 2 days. u dont need any medicated crap u just gota drink water, it really duz help.

They are on the outside, so you can see them easily. Now think for a moment about your internal organs. You can't see this, but they are surely suffering from malnutrition. You have to feed your body to keep it alive. One of the things that will suffer from malnutrition is your brain. Do you find yourself not being able to think straight or concentrate? Starving yourself isn't worth the consequences. If I asked you to take care of my dog, surely you would feed it every day to take good care of it. Sometimes people put more effort in to caring for someone else than in to caring for themselves. ok the exact same thing happened to my cousin and this remedy began to work with in a week and then lasted 4 weeks she put vaseline on (alot) before bed all around the mouth even the bits that are not chapped this prevents chapping , in the morning get some warm water on a piece of cotton wool and wipe the parts where the vaseline was then put your chap stick on like you usually would do then in mid afternoon put body moisture's on the chapped areas don't go inside your mouth not tasty lol make sure its one for sensitive skin my cousin used coconut oil :)
then repeat this every day for 4 weeks then stop and just do the vaseline thing every time you think that it may flare up again but not the other stuff until you get a proper flare up :)
