Does vaseline:white petroleum jelly, have spf in it?


-it doesnt really seem like spf would be in it but someone said that there is, im curious=]


if it doesn't have spf in it, anyone have suggestions on lip balm with spf?Lip Chap? Lips......?

I use ChapStick Lip Moisterizer with SPF of 15 - I love it so much and it keep my lips moist all day long. I use nothing else. I keep one every where I go.
Nope- vaseline will encourage the skin on lips to burn as it has a high oil content.

blistex has a lip balm with spf :) i LOVE it!
No it doesn't have SPF in it but Blistex does. You can get ones specifically for protection against sun but most have SPF 30+ I'm pretty sure.
if you look in superdrug im sure theres some lip balms that look just like vaseline but are superdrug brand. they're cheaper and theres one with spf in it. :)
a farmer told me once that when they use to get chap lips, they'd run out in the field, catch some wild animal, stick two fingers in its butt and wipe it on their lips.








it doesn't help the chap lips, but it keeps them from licking it dry.

look for Chapstick with SPF label on front. it'll say if it has it.
Blistex can be used as much as you like. Dry lips means your dehydrated. So drink more water.
there is a yellow Vaseline, its in a tin, that ha spf 15 or smat like that its like 80p from boots!





there are 3 types of Vaseline:


the blue 1 - normal


the green 1- that has aloe vera in it


the yellow 1 - that is the spf one

Blistex has spf in it, but not vaseline. That's used more for nappy rash.
