Chap stick w/ lip ring?

i'm gonna get a lip ring, but in the winter i get chapped lips easily, and i wanted to know if anyone nows how i could put chap stick on with my lip ring in? and dont say-- dont get a lip ring, that isnt the answer i'm looking for, so if u wer gonna say that dont wast your timeChap stick w/ lip ring?
Since you are a guy I don't know if you want to do this but you can use a lip brush. Otherwise just put it on around the ring.Chap stick w/ lip ring?
My friend has two lip rings (next to each other) and he can move them side to side without any sort of issue.


So it's no problem to just put on chapstick around them.

You can put chapstick on fine with a lip ring. there shouldn't be any problem. however your pericing should be fully healed before you put anything like chapstick near it. If you are getting it done anytime soon, youll be fine.
You just put it on like you normally would only when you get to the lip ring you have to kind of move it to one side. Or you could use your finger. It's really not as hard as it might seem thinking about it.
Couple of ways:





Take the ring out, apply chapstick, put the ring back in.





Another way is to just do light coats around the ring, move your lips together, and wipe off any residue from the ring with a tissue.
just try to avoid the area, or get a ring that is not a hoop for when your lips are chapped
It's very easy and the ring will move easily once it has healed. It will move just like an earring on an ear does. Don't worry about what people say, if you like it that's all that matters.
You'll be fine, just either push the lip ring aside when you put on the chapstick or smush some underneath it with your little finger. Just make sure to not get chapstick IN the piercing, because that will irritate it horribly and make your healing time go much slower.
CARMEX,put it on with your little finger or Q-tip. Works everytime.
Just move the ring to either side when putting the ChapStik on. If you like the ';rubbing'; feeling of pressing your lips together, you can still do it, just put the ring to the side, or rub it on with your fingers.





I know what you mean... I had my labret pierced for a long time. It didn't hinder my chapstik application abilities.

One of my bestfriends had two lip rings and he just uses any kind he wants. He does it normally just like idk dodge the holes lol. They best kind he says is Lip Vitamin at first because of all the vitimins it has so good luck. Hope the piercing doesn't hurt.
don't get a lip ring. its a turn off and in like 10 or 20 years you are going to HATE it. also, i know someone who had one and she got an awful infection! she had to get surgery, and not to mention a tetnis shot from the ring! if you are really going to go through with it, get gold or white gold, because silver changes color eventually, and other metals give you tetnis.
should be fine if lip rings healed.
I dont know if tou can but... dont put the chapstick where the lip ring is... Iono. maybe also... If you could take it outof ge the carmex that you use with your fingers and rub it around or under(depends on what type you get). Or the alternative, dont get a lip ring. I think that you might like the first one better though.Good luck! bb!

You won't have any problems getting chap stick on with a lip ring. But when I had mine I had to get a barbell/post for a while before switching to a ring, so my lip wouldn't split. They sometimes make you do that. Do you already have a barbell?





Anyway, if you have a lot of trouble with chapped lips in the winter, try slathering a thick chap-stick or vaseline on your lips before you hop into the shower in the morning. By the end of the shower you should just be able to wipe off loads of dead skin with your wash cloth. Then put a light layer on when you come out of the shower. You should be fine for a while.
